Buyer’s Review

All Islands Home Inspections is pleased to announce an exciting new offering called the Buyer’s Review.  We always strongly encourage our clients to attend their professional home inspection; it is simply the best way to learn about a home and to make informed decisions.  We also recognize the fact that most buyers don’t have the 3-5+ hour endurance required to follow the home inspector throughout the course of a complete and thorough home inspection, only to anxiously wait for the comprehensive written report to follow.  We are, therefore, offering a Buyer’s Review and here’s how it works:

(1)   Buyer contracts with All Islands Home Inspections to conduct a professional home inspection. 

(2)   The home inspection is then conducted in advance of the Buyer’s arrival, ideally 1-2 days in advance.

(3)   The home inspector and client schedule a time to meet at the house for the Buyer’s Review.  At the Buyer’s Review, the final written home inspection reports are hand delivered, reviewed with the inspector, and a complete walk-through of the home is conducted with the inspector.  The client’s questions about the home and reports are asked and answered on site.  The anxiety and “surprises” from the written report that traditionally follows are eliminated.  Quite simply, it’s always better to communicate the findings of a home inspection report in person, rather than via email or telephone.
 

      (4)   The Buyer’s Review typically takes about 2 hours.  There is no extra charge for the Buyer’s Review.

The feedback we’ve received from Realtors and Clients about the Buyer’s Review has been overwhelmingly positive.  It really is a great value.  And, of course, we’re certainly more than happy to conduct the home inspection traditionally with our clients in attendance and without a Buyer’s Review.  The choice is yours.
